GREENVILLE — After their long-time dream of creating a business where men and women could become more confident in themselves, co-owners Dr. Jenny Kipp and Dr. Nicole Falatic did just that after two years of blood, sweat and tears.

However, the difficulties that come with any business, especially creating your own, were no match for doctorate nurse practitioners and consultants Falatic and Kipp.

Officially opening its doors on Monday, the White Lotus Boutique on 128 S. Lafayette St. in Greenville offers a variety of Botox services to clients in surrounding the area, including health and cosmetic administering.

Falatic and Kipp, better known as “work best friends,” met soon after graduating college in 2018 and 2019, from both Grand Valley State University and Bradley University. It was from that moment they knew they wanted to work on something more geared toward their liking.

“We’re good friends and great co-workers,” said Falatic. “She’s someone I can really depend on and we mesh really well. We both have very different personalities, but together it just works.”

After jumping from clinic to clinic and keeping in touch along the way, Falatic and Kipp decided to jump into action just two years ago, to make their dream a reality. Now finally opening their doors, Falatic said it feels unreal.

“It started as a joke, like ‘haha wouldn’t it be cool if we opened up a business together’, and then those thoughts developed into ‘let’s just do it, we won’t know unless we try’,” said Falatic. “We both had always talked about doing things to make people feel better about themselves, and Botox was one of the first things we thought of.”

Falatic said making clients feel good about themselves is their main goal.

“What’s better than going to work every day and making someone feel confident and beautiful,” she said.

One client in particular, AnneJ Sparks, is excited for the White Lotus to finally be in business.

“I am so excited. I told them as soon as they were ready they had to let me know,” said Sparks. “I know that they’re excited too but I’m just excited about it as they are. I totally trust these women.”

With the next closest service like this being a 45-minute drive when deciding where to plant their business, choosing Greenville was a “no brainer” to Falatic.

“I’ve always been interested in this area in particular and it’s really grown quite a bit in terms of businesses,” she said. “It just made sense, it really did.”

Sparks said Greenville was lucky to offer Botox services.

“It’s local and it’s people I trust. This place is hometown, but it’s still upscale,” said Sparks. “The services you get are amazing. I know that I’m paying for good quality things and good quality service.”

With a strong opening, clients are rolling in consistently. While the White Lotus Boutique is only providing Botox services at this time, Kipp and Falatic said after they work to build their clientele for a good base, within the next three months new services could be coming to the table.

The three services that will likely come to White Lotus soon are dermal fillers, laser hair removal, and IV vitamin hydration. All of these services work to rejuvenate the skin and clients have been excited to get their hands on them.

Although Botox is mostly known for its cosmetic appeal, Falatic highlighted that it can help many health issues as well.

“Typically when you hear of Botox it works with a lot of things on the face,” said Falatic.

They administer Botox to get rid of forehead lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, smoker lines, turned down smiles and other things to enhance the face like lip flips and dimpled chins. However, the White Lotus Boutique also works to help those with excessive sweating, migraines, chronic eye twitching, teeth grinding and clenching of the neck.

“Some people aren’t interested in it for the aesthetic appeal, but more the medical appeal and that’s something that we can easily do because we are certified healthcare providers,” said Falatic. “It’s something we’re very familiar with.”

For those thinking about getting Botox for their first time, Falatic invites those to stop in and say hi.

“The nice thing about Botox is it’s not permanent and we can always go less. Less is best,” she said. “Don’t be anxious and let us show you what we have to offer. We don’t have to do Botox the first time either. It can just be coming in, meeting me, doing a consultation and seeing what it’s all about.”
